Sleep and Nighttime Pruritus in Children with Atopic Dermatitis

摘要: The number of scratching episodes and average frequency with which they started during each sleep stage as well the effects nighttime pruritus on objective parameters in nine children atopic dermatitis were assessed laboratory. Scratching occurred rapid eye movement (REM) non-REM (NREM) sleep. largest corresponded to 1, followed by 2, REM sleep, 4, 3. Sleep maintenance was markedly altered. Total time decrease related mainly smaller amounts 4 NREM percentage total increased compared normal same age. Furthermore, six patients latency found be decreased.
