摘要: A theoretical analysis of the associations between nonright‐handedness (NRH) and various neurodevelopmental disorders, psychopathology, related medical conditions is presented. Fourteen disorders are reviewed in which elevated NRH has been alleged. Impaired noradrenergic activity and, to a lesser extent, serotonergic dysfunction common most these but not always associated with NRH. In contrast, labyrinth, its neural projection areas, or both, apparently exists all cases involving proven elevation NRH, other neurochemical imbalances normal percentages right‐handedness.
