摘要: This article adopt alternative methodologies to estimate the degree of integenerational income mobility in Brazil. We apply two saomple instrumental variables used by Bjorklund e Jantti (1997) and show that intergenerational persistence family per capita is greater than other concepts. Moreover, all measures based on transition matrices support previous findings less compared developed countries. Finally, results Benabou Ok (2001) indicate structure Brazil reduce Gini coefficient 20 percentage points, wich means inequality opportunities accounts for nearly 65% observed inequality.
