Social mobility and smoking: a systematic review

摘要: The purpose of this study is to review the literature on longitudinal studies that have evaluated effect social mobility occurrence smoking in various populations. Articles were selected from web databases PubMed and Web Science using words: follow up, cohort prospective, mobility, change life, course socioeconomic, smoking, tobacco. Of six identified review, four used occupational classification measure mobility. All carried out continent Europe. results indicate higher proportions tobacco users among those with lower socioeconomic level during whole period observation (for all variables analyzed); people who suffered downward say classified as having a at beginning tended mimic habits new group when they migrated group.
