摘要: Background Between 1999 and 2002, a multistate demonstration project was conducted in long-term care facilities (LTCFs) to encourage implementation of standing orders programs (SOP) as evidence-based vaccine delivery strategies increase influenza pneumococcal vaccination coverage LTCFs. Objective Examine predictors Design Intervention study. Self-administered surveys LTCFs merged with data from OSCAR (On-line Survey Certification Reporting System) immunization abstracted residents’ medical charts Setting Participants Twenty were sampled 9 intervention 5 control states the 2000 2001 season for baseline during 2002 postintervention. Each state’s quality improvement organization (QIO) promoted use immunizations well other among LTCF residents. Main Outcome Measures Multivariate analysis included Poisson regression determine independent at least 10 percentage-point facility coverage. Results Forty-two (20%) 59 (28%) had immunizations, respectively. In multivariate analysis, associated adoption requirement written protocol document refusals, less-demanding consent requirements, lower coverage, small size. Factors recording consistent place, affiliation multifacility chain, provision resource materials. Conclusions To improve health residents, should be considered that including documentation documenting status place records, minimal requirements vaccinations.
