摘要: The visualization of brain connectivity becomes progressively more challenging as analytic and computational advances begin to facilitate connexel-wise analyses, which include all connections between pairs voxels. Drawing full graphs can result in depictions that, rather than illustrating patterns detail, obfuscate owing the data density. In an effort expand possibilities for visualization, we describe two approaches presenting connexels: edge-bundling, clarifies structure by grouping geometrically similar connections; and, glyphs, depict a condensed map at each point on cortical surface. These be applied native space, facilitating interpretation relation connexels anatomy. tools have been implemented part brainGL, extensive open-source software interactive exploration structural functional data.
