摘要: Abstract Inert-gas halide emission spectra from a Tesla discharge are studied as function of pressure and temperature. From the temperature dependence infinite ratio broad-band (C → A B A) to X emission, energy separations, T eC - eB , found be −130 cm −1 (XeCl), −80 (XeBr) 375 (KrCl). Estimates A)/(B X) spontaneous branching ratios agree well with theoretical predictions.
