摘要: In two-component Xe/HCl mixtures irradiated with alpha -particles, emissions centred at 308, 345 and 470 nm are observed; they correspond to the (B X) (C A) transitions of XeCl* transition (42 Gamma 12 ) Xe2Cl*, respectively. The Xe2Cl* emission was only seen when HCl present as traces Xe a pressure over 200 Torr. experiments showed simultaneous presence third continuum xenon (290 390 mm) which compete those XeCl*. This implies that Xe2+* ions their precursors, participate in reactions XeCl (B, C) formation also origin continuum. By means intensity measurements, energy gap between states B C estimated 118+or-40 cm-1.
