摘要: The feasibility of creating tough surface material using oxide-fiber-reinforced oxide matrix ceramics was studied. Al 2 OI 3 fiber/(ZrO , O ) composite used as the a Si-Ti-C-O-fiber-bonded composite. sintering (ZrO and layer (SCL) its bonding to fiber-bonded (FBC) were done simultaneously by vacuum hot pressing. A spherical indentation test demonstrated advantage SCL in reducing damage base FBC from an indenter, because high fracture resistance could reduce stress concentration cumulative microfracture process.
