摘要: Abstract The effect of sodium butyrate on mastocytoma p-815-4 cells was examined. In the presence butyrate, proliferation decreased without any detectable cellular degeneration, and average cell volume butyrate-treated increased. These tended to adhere substratum, manifested their morphological changes. On second day after addition basophilic granules appeared around Golgi area gradually increased in number size. Ultrastructural examination with electron microscope showed a well developed complex, numerous granules, many profiles endoplasmic reticulum microvilli. changes were maximized 3–4 days this agent. agglutination by concanavalin A (ConA) or wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) did not change significantly. induction granulopoiesis prevented actinomycin D cycloheximide.
