摘要: The amygdala plays a crucial role in the orchestration and modulation of organism response to aversive, stressful events. This could be conceived as result two interdependent components. first is represented by sets visceral motor responses aimed at helping cope with present event. second acquisition memories relative stimulus its context. latter component contributes instatement conditioned stress that are essential capability predict future exposures similar stimuli order avoid them or counteract effectively. In amygdala, these components become fully integrated. Massive networks link hypothalamus, midbrain brainstem. These convey visceral, humoral nociceptive information mediate effects on hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis well autonomic centers. On other hand, interactions between interconnected cortical play acquisition, consolidation extinction learning stimulus. Within scope this review, current evidence interaction will considered relationship integration stress.
