摘要: Third‐order nonlinear optical properties of As2S3‐based glass fibers are studied at a wavelength around 1.55 μm. Through time‐resolved pump‐probe measurements and analysis spectrum broadening due to self phase modulation, it is confirmed that capable instantaneous refractive response subpicosecond pulse. Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) with Stokes shift Δk=344 cm−1 observed using picosecond pump The gain coefficient was estimated be 4.4×10−12 (m/W), which two orders magnitude higher than for silica fiber. relaxation time the contribution refraction 97 fs influence SRS on pulse propagation as low‐frequency gain. two‐photon absorption (TPA) α2=6.2×10−15 (m/W) through transmission change measurement.
