摘要: This research work has concerned a study on toughness of PVC/natural rubber (NR) blends compatibilized with epoxidized natural (ENR). The aim this was to investigate the effect degree epoxidation morphology and mechanical properties blends. Epoxidized variety contents were prepared by reacting NR latex formic acid hydrogen peroxide at various chemical contents. Chemical structure content evaluated FTIR 1 H-NMR techniques. After that, three grades ENR 15, 25 42 % (by mole) further used for blending PVC in an internal mixer 60 rpm 170 °C. From tensile impact tests, it found that elongation strength materials remarkably increased epoxidation. On other hand, modulus rarely changed content. An increase related better molecular interaction between as suggested torque-time curves materials.
