摘要: The mathematical modeling and computer simulation of low-temperature plasmas is gradually such a level maturity that these tools can be used not just for improving scientific understanding but also as computer-aided engineering design in an industrial setting. These models necessarily involve the description multiple physical phenomena occurring over range times lengths, thereby complicating their numerical implementation solution. This special issue presents 12 invited contributions present recent developments field plasma discharges. editorial introduces papers by providing overview context which are presented.
