摘要: White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) is a large DNA infecting shrimp and other crustaceans. The particles contain at least five major virion proteins, of which three (VP26, VP24, VP15) are present in the rod-shaped nucleocapsid two (VP28 VP19) reside envelope. mode entry systemic infection WSSV black tiger shrimp, Penaeus monodon, role these proteins processes not known. A specific polyclonal antibody was generated against envelope protein VP28 using baculovirus expression vector system. antiserum able to neutralize P. monodon concentration-dependent manner upon intramuscular injection. This result suggests that located on surface particle likely play key initial steps shrimp.
