摘要: Bats use a wide array of roosts that have several important roles for bats. The present study was conducted in three areas the state Espirito Santo, southeastern Brazil: protected area, rural landscape, and an urban landscape. In each area we actively searched roosts, when one found set mist-nets (from to four, depending on roost size) close entrance. These stayed open from six hours after sunset. We observed bats using types roosts: hollow trees, foliage, caves, rock crevices, buildings, abandoned houses, bridges, rain pipes. total 12 four sampled area. To our knowledge first record Lonchorhina aurita man-made roosts. Roosts are paramount importance persistence bat populations. Therefore, ecology will play vital role managing conserving species.
