摘要: Abstract Viscoelastic properties of aqueous Carbopol gels were examined at frequencies 7.91 × 10 −3 to 25 Hz using a Weissenberg rheogoniometer. Neutralized changed little from 50dgC and similar unneutralized gels. Data confirmed the dominant elastic nature (phase lags 2–14°) relative small change storage modulus with frequency indicated that polymer was strongly entangled in their plateau region viscoelastic behaviour. Some correlation oscillatory data continuous shear observed. Oscillatory obtained different temperatures combined creep method reduced variables; satisfactory composite curves over slightly increased range obtained. When transformed into dynamic experimental results, exact relationships, which described behaviour seven decades. From this it suggested Carbopols high molecular weight amorphous polymers long side chains. The practical aspects transformation procedure discussed shown neither strain technique alone covered entire or time necessary for an exhaustive study
