摘要: Abstract The aim of the present investigation was to investigate influence various polymers at different concentrations on in vivo activity pilocarpine-loaded albumin nanoparticles. It speculated that co-administration with viscous or bioadhesive would increase time residence eye drug-loaded particle systems, and hence drug bioavailability. For this purpose, formulations containing (hyaluronic acid, mucin, sodium car☐ymethylcellulose, polyacrylic acid) viscosity-enhancing (methylcellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) were tested rabbits for miotic effect reduction intraocular pressure (IOP, betamethasone model). In presence some polymers, nanoparticles induced a significantly improved pharmacological response when compared dispersions buffer particle-free polymeric vehicles. Bioadhesive exhibited superior effects respect polymers: best results IOP observed mucin. can be assumed coadministration particles these leads an adhesion precomeal/conjunctival mucin layer prolongation medication eye.
