摘要: In the present update on mucoadhesive ocular dosage forms, tremendous advances in biochemistry of mucins, development new polymers, use drug complexes and other technological are discussed. This review focusses recent literature regarding liquid (viscous solutions, particulate systems), semi-solid (hydrogel, situ gelling system) solid with special attention to vivo studies. Gel-forming minitablets inserts made thiomers show an interesting potential for future applications treatment diseases.
