摘要: Nanotechnology that deals with submicron particles has the potential to deeply impact ophthalmic delivery owing its ability transport incorporated active ingredient/drugs different compartments of eye while protecting them from any external assault. Polymeric nanoparticles, in particular hybrid nanoparticles made up biodegradable and biocompatible polymers, revolutionize ocular carrier systems by taking advantage their highly tunable physicochemical properties. Here we report a synthesis method chitosan-poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA, as building block nanocarrier) for delivery. The method, characterization, uptake study retinal epithelial cells confocal imaging is described herein.
