摘要: The technology now exists to construct physical models of proteins based on atomic coordinates solved structures. We review here our recent experiences in using teach concepts protein structure and function at both the high school undergraduate levels. At level, are used a professional development program targeted biology chemistry teachers. This has recently been expanded include two student enrichment programs which students participate modeling activities. we currently exploring usefulness communicating that have traditionally difficult teach. discuss experience with such examples: close-packed nature an enzyme active site pH-induced conformational change influenza hemagglutinin during virus infection.
