摘要: Recent progress in genomic research has raised expectations for the development of personalized preventive medicine, although genomics-related literacy patients will be essential. Thus, enhancing is crucial, particularly individuals with low because they might otherwise miss opportunity to receive care. This should especially emphasized when a lack associated elevated disease risk, could therefore deprived added benefits interventions; however, whether such an association exists unclear. Association between literacy, calculated as genomics score (GLS), and prevalence non-communicable diseases was assessed using propensity matching on 4646 participants (males: 1891; 40.7%). Notably, low-GLS group (score below median) presented higher risk hypertension (relative (RR) 1.09, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.03-1.16) obesity (RR 1.11, CI 1.01-1.22) than high-GLS group. Our results suggest that level represent factor obesity. Evaluating used identify more appropriate population health educational interventions.
