摘要: BACKGROUND Biomechanical factors are known to be important in knee osteoarthritis (OA) development and progression. This study was designed determine changes of hamstrings muscle activation, adduction moment ankle rotation angle two (mild moderate) a healthy control group. METHODS 16 females (10 with mild 6 moderate medial osteoarthritis) 10 matched were recruited. A 3D gait analysis performed on the subjects while they walked along walkway. Electromyography data also collected during from lateral hamstrings. Post Hoc Tukey HSD (multi comparison) compare moment, activity at early late stance, between three groups. RESULTS Ankle angle, activation showed no significant difference Interestingly, significantly higher stance group compared asymptomatic groups (p=0.03, 0.02 respectively). Also directly correlated inversely this angle. CONCLUSIONS It can concluded that, increased increase external consequently decrease moment.
