摘要: Abstract Numerous sources have observed that undergraduates tend to use Internet search engines, predominantly Google, instead of library electronic resources for their course work. Thus, academic librarians expressed concern about the under-utilization provided through Web portals. Studies technology acceptance and success indicate user training can positively influence individuals' information systems. Even so, there has been no investigation longterm effects education on This longitudinal study fills this gap in literature by determining whether a semester-long, credit-bearing, general integrated with an literacy component alters undergraduate students' perceptions increases university libraries' web portal at mid-size research institution. A mixed methods approach was employed, collecting data three rounds survey (pre-course, post-course, follow-up) as well one-on-one interviews. Results from quantitative analysis indicated variance participants' short-term longer term. The positive validated manipulation check. outcome interviews also confirmed findings derived data.
