摘要: The work of Donald Searing provides a snapshot the motivational roles British Members Parliament in early 1970s. Drawing on Searing's work, this paper considers emergence Policy Advocate, identifying likely reasons for decline more traditional roles, unexpectedly large number Advocates 1970s, and presumed increase later parliaments.
