摘要: Peritoneal macrophages (PM) were isolated from mice treated with Dimycolate of Trehalose (TDM), a glycolipid extracted the cell wall Mycobacterium tuberculosis. PM TDM-treated (TDM-PM) shown to secrete consistent amount IFN-gamma, which was not detectable in control Resident-PM (Res-PM), as revealed by ELISA. In addition, biologically active IFN detected supernatants TDM-PM, whereas no production found those Res-PM. The addition specific antisera cultures simultaneous both type I and II IFNs TDM-PM cultures. No reciprocal regulation IFN-gamma IFN-alpha/beta these parallel, nitric oxide (NO) measured detecting nitrites (NO2-). accumulated high amounts NO2- decreased level Res-PM presence NMMA, an inhibitor NO-synthases. vitro, neither nor involved stimulation NO production. capacity simultaneously upon vivo TDM-treatment could be particular relevance for defense process innate immunity play crucial role.
