摘要: A novel method has been successfully used for the preparation of ultrafiltration (UF) membranes by direct polymerization bicontinuous microemulsions. One these microemulsions consisted a polymerizable cationic surfactant ((acryloyloxy)undecyl)trimethylammonium bromide (AUTMAB), methyl methacrylate (MMA), 2-hydroxyethyl (HEMA), and water. The other was zwitterionic microemulsion composed ((acryloyloxy)undecyl )dimethylammonio acetate (AUDMAA), MMA, HEMA, In addition, small amount cross-linker ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) also included in each improving its UF membrane strength. uniqueness system is that all organic components can readily be copolymerized at room temperature using redox initiator. transparent thus formed showed excellent strength performance on separation different molecular weights poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). pore sizes were calculated to within range 1-5 nm diameter, they could regulated varying compositions.
