Myriocin and process of preparation

摘要: There is disclosed herein myriocin, an antibiotic obtained by culturing Myriococcum albomyces NRRL 3858, extracting it from the cultures thus obtained, and purifying crystallization. Myriocin useful as anti-fungal agent, a process for its preparation methods use are also disclosed. trans-2-amino-3,4-dihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-14-oxo-6-eicosenoic acid.
