摘要: Schwannomas are typically slow growing, encapsulated benign neoplasms. Visceral schwannomas rare, and preoperative diagnosis is challenging, as they often confused with other neoplasms even advanced imaging studies. Surgical excision usually needed to establish a definitive diagnosis, pathology the "gold standard." We review findings of abdominal focusing on pancreatic, gastrointestinal, retroperitoneal/adrenal correlation. conclude that schwannoma should be included in broad differential an mass when it unnecessary radical resection can avoided.
