摘要: Background Pterosaurs have been known from the Cretaceous sediments of Isle Wight (southern England, United Kingdom) since 1870. We describe three-dimensional pelvic girdle and associated vertebrae a small near-adult pterodactyloid Atherfield Clay Formation (lower Aptian, Lower Cretaceous). Despite acknowledged variation in pterosaur pelvis, previous studies not adequately sampled or incorporated characters into phylogenetic analyses.
