摘要: The taxonomy, geographic distribution, and paleoenvironmental context of azhdarchid pterosaurs are reviewed. All purported pteranodontid, tapejarid, specimens from the Cenomanian Kem beds Morocco referred to a single taxon, Alanqa saharica. four proposed autapomorphies Eurazhdarcho langendorfensis lower Maastrichtian Sebes Formation Romania based on misinterpretations material this taxon is likely subjective junior synonym Hatzegopteryx thambema. Among 54 currently reported occurrences (51 skeletal remains 3 tracks) 13% lacustrine deposits, 17% fluvial plain coastal depos its, 18% estuarine lagoonal 35% costal marine deposits. Azhdarchids inhabited variety environments, but were abundant near large lakes rivers most common in nearshore paleoenvironments.
