摘要: The cytogenetic characteristics of five fish species the Moenkhausia are described, based on analysis specimens collected in different headwater. All analyzed presented 2n=50 chromosomes. C-banding revealed a similar distribution pattern heterochromatic blocks all species, except nigromarginata. 5S rDNA sites were distributed multiple chromosome pairs species. Single and histone H1 observed was shown to be co-located with 18S rRNA gene single pair. U2 snDNA at presence B microchromosomes confirmed forestii, while individuals three study populations oligolepis morphologically distinct types chromosome. chromosomal mapping using FISH technique signals chromosomes M. clusters genes found forestii oligolepis. classical molecular markers used this ample variation karyotypes, reflecting dynamic nature evolution.
