摘要: Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is most commonly caused by rupture of a saccular aneurysm or other structural pathologies. Occasionally, no cause for the can be identified radiographic imaging. These hemorrhages, termed angiogram-negative SAH, are generally considered to have better prognosis than aneurysmal SAH. Angiogram-negative SAH subgroups include benign perimesencephalic (PMH) and aneurysmal-type Outcome data these differ from those group as whole. We report 31 patients who presented our institution 2006 present. performed retrospective chart review, outcome that rates rehemorrhage, hydrocephalus, vasospasm, permanent ischemic deficits, headaches, outcomes based on modified Rankin Scale scores. also review literature meta-analysis therein. compared complications in PMH subgroup diffuse-type subgroup. The revealed poor rehemorrhages with PMH. In diffuse subgroup, 1 patient had rehemorrhage 2 outcome. Our found an OR 6.23 good versus hemorrhage, 2.78 hemorrhage. not entity. Complications present but significantly reduced, improved,
