摘要: Due to the need both dredge sediments maintain coastal waterways and manage impacts of extensive human activities, management estuarine is an important issue. There a assess contaminated in order optimize that management. However, it complex; assessment design interpretation should be driven by goals ecological, political, economic interested parties. This chapter reviews various aspects sediment assessment, from simple site characterization selection strategies, light how measures can inform objectives. The focus this on anthropogenic chemicals their impacts; biological restoration per se not addressed.
