摘要: Using SCID-hu mice, it was tested whether humanized mAb Rμ5.5 could prevent infection by HIV-1 i.v. inoculation. The Ab that recognizes the IHIGPGRAFYT motif in principal neutralizing determinant (PND) of HIV MN , as well original mouse μ5.5, neutralized with high activity. Seven primary field isolates from Japanese hemophiliacs seropositive for clade B were compared their reactivities to Rμ5.5. effective, particularly against viruses matched amino acid sequences PND region HIV-1, and completely isolates. Moreover, passive transfer elicited protection challenge or hu-PBL-SCID mice after inoculation virus both quantitative PCR PBMC-based isolation vitro. Further, also prevented atrophic change medulla thymic transplant induced virus. Thus, appears protect
