摘要: The pathological alterations in renal glomeruli of BALB/c mice infected neonatally or by vertical transmission from the mother with Moloney leukaemogenic virus mouse sarcoma have been studied light microscopy, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy. abnormalities observed microscopy were an initial proliferation mesangial, endothelial epithelial cells, followed thickening deposition PAS-positive material basement membrane, localized necrosis a variable degree glomerulosclerosis, overall characteristics chronic, proliferative glomerulonephritis. more severe when leukaemia became manifest. By few noted early stages, mainly marked swelling reticulation cells some animals, stages intermediate severity mesangial area membrane local formation subepithelial projections fusion foot processes cells. Only particles occasionally detected glomeruli. Immunoglobulin viral antigens demonstrated practically all antibody capable neutralizing MLV was eluted kidney mice. These findings appear to be consistent immune complex aetiology this glomerular disease.
