摘要: To evaluate in a prospective study the impact of “three-drug therapy” (antimuscarinic, alpha-blocker and tricyclic antidepressants) on treatment refractory detrusor overactivity (DO). Data from 27 consented patients with DO were available for study. They asked to complete daily urinary chart underwent urodynamic evaluation (UD) before 60 days after treatment. Response was considered presence one or less involuntary contractions (IDC) post-treatment UD. Statistical analysis performed Fisher Mann–Whitney tests, besides Spearman’s correlation. P values <0.05 significant. The mean follow-up 15 months. comparison showed significant increase bladder capacity decreases urgency, urge-incontinence frequency. Objective data UD that maximum (MBC) ranged 200 300 mL (P < 0.001) same trend observed other variables. When compared baseline, questionnaire OAB-v8 improvement (P < 0.01). Main side effects comprised dry mouth constipation (40%), average scores 5.16 3.08, respectively (visual scale 0 10). Triple therapy may be an effective, easily employed well-tolerated option More studies are necessary achieve more consistent matter.
