摘要: The efficacy of cyclosporin (CyA) in the induction remission atopic dermatitis has been documented controlled studies. However, little information is available on duration after CyA treatment. We studied length 43 patients with severe a 6-week treatment period at 5 mg/kg per day. After follow-up 6-26 weeks, depending time-point relapse, second CyA, identical to first, was performed. Disease activity evaluated bi-weekly, using six different parameters: 1, total body disease score; 2, extent disease; 3, occurrence itch; 4, sleep disturbance; 5, use topical emollients; and 6, hydrocortisone. A significant decrease observed. score decreased from baseline 31 11.6 end first part 13.4 study. An almost maximal response already apparent 2 weeks All other parameters also showed similar seen when were re-treated. both periods, approximately half relapsed (42% part; 54% part). 6 follow-up, relapse rates 71 90%, respectively.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
