摘要: Yearly vaccination against seasonal influenza viruses is recommended for certain individuals at high risk of complications associated with influenza. It has been in some countries, including the USA, that all children aged 6-59 months are vaccinated However, it shown-mainly animals-that infection A can induce protective immunity to other unrelated subtypes. This so-called heterosubtypic does not provide full protection, but limit virus replication and reduce morbidity mortality host. type might be relevant human beings when a new subtype introduced into population, such as H1N1 responsible present pandemic highly pathogenic avian H5N1 causing an ever increasing number infections rates. Preventing by prevent induction strains, which disadvantage immunologically naive people-eg, infants.
