摘要: Abstract Objectives To assess HER-2/neu gene status by fluorescence in situ hybridization and protein expression immunohistochemistry human bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). In breast carcinoma, amplification receptor overexpression are tightly correlated have prognostic therapeutic implications. Methods We used 54 randomly selected TCC specimens obtained from 1998 to 2000. Each specimen was fixated 10% neutral-buffered formalin embedded paraffin. Of the specimens, 7 were grade 1 (13%), 26 2 (48%), 21 3 (39%); 36 (67%) superficial (Stage Ta or T1) 18 (33%) invasive T2 T3). The analyzed for using hybridization. Results 14 (26%) positive overexpression. One (14%) of tumors overexpression, (12%) positive, 10 (48%) ( P = 0.0195). Six (17%) Stage T1 8 (44%) T3 0.01). None showed Conclusions is present TCC, with a statistically significant increase 3, specimens. Gene does not appear be mechanism significance these findings application treatment needs additional investigation.
