摘要: Osteoporosis is a chronic disease characterized by loss of bone mass and deterioration microstructure that lead to greater risk fragility fractures. Fall generally the main cause Hip fractures are most common ones usually correlated morbidity mortality. The aim our observational study was evaluate, among patients with hip fracture, characteristics circumstances falls. We conducted national epidemiological survey, involving 80 physiatrists. They were asked collect data on over 55 years age who underwent fracture in 12 months prior recruitment. For each patient they had fill form including questions different aspects patients' medical history: age, gender, reason for visit, type number falls last year before fall. Among 419 sustained 70 experienced fall, while 119 incurred more fracture. In people cohort, caused fall occurred side during morning.
