摘要: A small, portable 915-MHz wind-profiling Doppler radar has been developed at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Aeronomy Laboratory. This provides high-resolution wind profiles from near surface upward to 2–3 km in clear air. Results of field trials Colorado Illinois are presented. These include comparisons with 405-MHz 50-MHz radars. Wind measurements made by different profilers very good agreement. Since is sensitive heavy clouds rain, it can be used monitor height melting layer vertical extent hydrometeors. The small also temperature up 1 when operated an acoustic source radio sounding system (RASS) mode.
