摘要: In adsorption study, isotherms and kinetics of process provide pieces information underlying the mechanisms dynamics process. Several equilibrium kinetic models are usually employed for performing experimental design an system. this chapter, Langmuir, Freundlich, Sips, Liu, Redlich–Peterson nonlinear equations, as well other unusual isotherm (Hill, Khan, Radke–Prausnitz, Toth) discussed. For adsorption, pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, general-order, Avrami fractionary order, Elovich chemisorption explained. The importance statistical parameters such coefficient determination (\(R^{2}\)), adjusted (\(R_{\text{adj}}^{2}\)), standard deviation (root mean square error) highlighted. usage linearized nonlinearized equations illustrated Some common mistakes commonly committed in literature using polemic points research pointed out. Analytical techniques together with thermodynamical data enthalpy entropy changes needed to ascertain if is a chemical or physical
