摘要: Sonographic and histologic correlation was studied in 20 cases with a combined total of 23 resected lesions hepatocellular carcinoma. All were examined by sonography within 1 week before surgery. Tumor sonograms classified as hypoechoic, complex, or hyperechoic on the basis difference echogenicity between lesion surrounding liver parenchyma. Fourteen excised pathologic specimens after surgery fixed-position sectional sonographic technique that permitted detailed comparison findings. Each three types echo pattern exhibited specific histopathologic characteristics. The hypoechoic corresponded to solid tumor without necrosis; complex partial represented histopathologically two distinct tumor, one fatty metamorphosis other marked sinusoidal dilatation.
