摘要: PURPOSE To examine the potential of a broad-spectrum kinase inhibitor as means neutralizing effects contraction promoters on ocular cells. METHODS The inhibitory were examined and characterized using an in vitro assay extracellular matrix by choroidal fibroblasts. RESULTS Staurosporine effectively inhibited collagen staurosporine rapid onset reversible upon removal inhibitor. Inhibition was observed when fibroblasts stimulated with serum, transforming growth factor beta 1, 2, platelet-derived factor, endothelin-1. We also that endothelin-1 only modest amounts compared to beta. CONCLUSIONS Matrix cells, development tractional forces, can be modulated marginal contractile responses endothelin-1, both potent dermal fibroblast contraction, suggest there are substantive difference these two cell types factors.
