摘要: Abstract Irrigated rice croplands are among the most biologically diverse agroecosystems globally; however, intensification and simplification of farmed areas into homogeneous monocultures can lead to biodiversity loss a reduction associated ecosystem services such as natural pest regulation. Understanding how landscape heterogeneity affects diversity arthropod communities is therefore crucial for sustainable management agroecosystems. Here, we examine influence fine-scale regional-scale effects on three rice-production regions in Philippines. Our analysis 213 morphospecies (37,339 individuals) collected using two sampling methods at 28 field sites indicated that each study region had unique assemblages, likely reflecting region-specific environmental land-use conditions. For all together, found no effect context (classified rather high or low sites) assemblage structure (arthropod abundance, species richness diversity). When assemblages were analyzed separately, significant only detected one functional groups (predators detritivores). Elevation gradient, used proxy regions, explained more than 60% variance structure. Total abundance rarefied negatively related elevation, suggesting composition rice-arthropod landscapes. To further disentangle complex broad-scale drivers versus complexity biocontrol services, future research should focus detailed quantification its multiple spatial scales.
