摘要: The is insufficient knowledge of arthropod communities occurring in specific microhabitats. In this study, we characterize the assemblages inhabiting burrows common hamster (Cricetus cricetus L.) and factors that determine their diversity abundance. We tested following hypotheses: (1) are associated with a particular dominant vegetation vicinity burrows; (2) correlation exists between fine-scale geographic distances among assemblage dissimilarity; (3) type trap influences sampling success captured arthropods. found 73 morphospecies belonging to 16 families 109 burrows, most which were Staphylinidae (Coleoptera) Parasitidae (Arachnida: Acari: Mesostigmata). abundant Staphylinidae, Cryptophagidae (Coleoptera), Parasitidae, Macrochelidae (Mesostigmata) (78.89%). Among identified species, Aleochara irmgardis (Staphylinidae) Poecilochirus sexclavatus (Parasitidae) had not yet been reported Poland, several other rare species. Meat-baited traps 64.34% more individuals, diverse species-rich than non-baited control traps, but former was selective for saprophages, necrophages, coprophages. located areas overgrown by triticale (a hybrid wheat rye) inhabited 69.86% these also highest abundance (64.07%) comparison habitats. However, differences sample size biased our results toward overestimate arthropods vegetation. This study underlines species composition detected affected methods used preferences habitat rather proximity burrows. More extensive across multiple habitats will be necessary confirm findings.
