摘要: Abstract Several anodic catalysts based on Pt–Sn (3:1 mass ratio) and 20% total metal loading were prepared different carbonaceous supports (functionalized non-functionalized low-density nanofibers, graphite oxide, expanded graphite, graphene flakes β-SiC), to identify an alternative for the traditional Carbon Vulcan XC-72 support electrochemical reforming of ethanol. Of materials tested, supported nanofibers (CNF LS) showed highest electro-catalytic activity vs. support. This result was attributed combination properties such as high surface area dispersion nanoparticles, active basicity. catalyst chosen development a Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) tested A obtained (120 mA cm−2 at 1.4 V 80 °C) hydrogen production. In addition, stability system its subsequent regeneration studied in view practical application.
