摘要: High-fidelity patient simulation is utilized in a variety of ways the nursing profession. While was slow to enter education, beginning late 1990s, use took even longer reach nurses already practicing healthcare environments. Growth has steadily increased, though many and students still lack exposure this valuable teaching strategy. As with most technological advances, cost simulators decreased over past decade. Initial simulators, 1990s early 2000s, for education occurred as result grant programs visionary leaders. There are challenges full integration, such cost, human resources, training needs; however, value appreciated benefits outweigh challenges. It vital that administrators enthusiasts continue promote effective provide leadership integrate methodology into entire curriculum. Further research needs be undertaken identify impact various conceptual areas have on learning outcomes well how impacts care safety.
