摘要: Nocturnal gastro-oesophageal reflux may be important in the pathogenesis of oesophagitis. This study aimed to determine whether: (1) occurs during sleep patients with oesophagitis and, if so, explore mechanism, and (2) pattern is different from that control subjects. After a standard evening meal, simultaneous manometric, oesophageal pH, polysomnographic recordings were obtained 11 endoscopic Patients gastrooesophageal disease had significantly more total episodes throughout nocturnal monitoring period than subjects (105 v 6). Ninety two 105 occurred awake state 10 stage II. A number brief periods arousal various stages. Of events recorded patients, 42 induced by transient lower sphincter relaxation, 20 stress reflux, 22 free mechanisms, 21 mechanism was unclear. The time spent each not between groups. It concluded crucial for occurrence normal as well difference frequency cannot explained patterns.
